Course Description: This course introduces differential and integral calculus with a strong emphasis on practical applications in business, economics, and management. Topics include functions, limits, derivatives, optimization, marginal analysis, and integration techniques relevant to cost, revenue, profit, and inventory models, among others.

Important Note: Rather than a traditional textbook, students will learn through curated lecture notes developed by the instructor over many years of instructional experience.

Course Goals: By the end of the course, students will be able to:
a) Apply calculus concepts to real-world management and economic problems.
b) Understand and interpret marginal cost, revenue, and profit, among others.
c) Use derivatives to find maxima/minima and make informed business decisions.
d) Use integration techniques to model accumulated change and average value, among others.

Required Materials: Instructor's Lecture Notes (provided at each lesson) and a Scientific or graphing calculator. The TI83/84 highly recommended. Assignments and supplemental exercises are provided by the instructor.

Grading Breakdown Component Weight: Class Exams (3) & quizzes (22) - 60%, Final Exam - 40%
